Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: How long is your course? A: ATDS comprehensive training is 4 weeks; 206 hours. Q: Is funding or financing available? A: Yes, funding and/or financing is available if you qualify. Call 800-999-8012 for details. Q: Is job placement available? A: While no school can guarantee you a job, ATDS graduates high employment level speaks for itself. The overwhelming majority of our graduates are able to choose from the many carriers that recruit from ATDS. Ask about out Pre-Hire program. Let ATDS assist you in your new career! Q: Where are classes held? A: Corporate offices are in Coldwater, MI. Training is avaible at 270 Sauk River Drive in beautiful Coldwater, Michigan. Q: What is the class schedule? A: Classes are held from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Q: What opportunities do women have in trucking? A: Demand for women drivers have never been greater, many carriers are heavily focused on recruiting women drivers. Q: When I graduate, must I be a "Long-Haul driver? A: Representitives from many carriers recruit from ATDS! Carriers are quite diverse in their travel lanes, some are Long-Haul, some regional/dedicated and some are local. Q: Will I have a CDL when I finish training? A: ATDS is a third party test site for the State of Michigan, after training, a CDL test is given. Q: What type of equipment does ATDS use? A: ATDS students train with Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo and Freightliner tractors, in both conventional and cabover configurations. Check out our Equipment page. Q: My wife and I are interested, is there a demand for team drivers? A: Yes, many carriers are looking for team drivers including husband/wife teams.
